Ruby Saulwick

Project Assistant

Ruby Saulwick

At the Lab, our Project Assistant gets her hands onto every deck, providing expertise and support across multi-platform projects. She is never one to shy away from a task, and her organisation and collaboration skills are enviable. The team at the Lab love her willingness to pick something up quickly and run with it, and her bubbly attitude. She values the kind hearted nature of everyone at the Lab, and the team’s deep commitment to learning (and laughing). When she’s not working at the Lab, you’ll find Ruby going for a walk (or a ride) through Canberra’s beautiful bushland or cooking elaborate dinners for her friends.

In addition to a career in International Development, Ruby is currently studying a Bachelor of International Relations, with minors in in French Language and Culture, Asia-Pacific International Relations, and Philosophy, along with a Bachelor of Economics, minoring in Strategy, Behaviour and Economics. Ruby has also spent time in France and Ireland with her studies. She has experience in front facing Government Institutions, and as a news reporter, as well as volunteering with UNYouth, Amnesty International, and the Smith Family.

Ruby has honed her research, communication and analysis skills behind the scenes of our flagship weekly publication, the Intel. Her dedication to high quality editing and publishing means she’s also a whiz across technical platforms (and the Outlook calendar) as she helps to bring projects to fruition.
