Global development is under pressure. AI is changing what's possible. Too often, brilliant ideas stay unheard by the people who could act on them. Situation 2026 is designed to change that.
Whether you have a new idea, an existing solution, or you want to connect with people building the solutions — you belong in the room.

A policy idea, process improvement, technological solution, or something beyond — any stage welcome. If AI could solve a development challenge, we want to hear it.
An existing AI product or tool that's deployed or adaptable to solve a development challenge. Put it in front of the people who could adopt or scale it.
A development organisation or policymaker looking for ideas and tools you can put to work. Come to find what's possible.

Do I need a finished idea or product? No. We welcome ideas at any stage — from an early hunch to a policy proposal to a tested solution. Where you are in the process doesn't disqualify you.
Do I need to be based in Australia? No. The challenge is open globally to anyone over 18, as an individual or team.
What do I actually have to submit? Just a short expression of interest form. A few questions about you and your contribution. We'll follow up from there.
